'Host was incredibly helpful as we navigated the immense damage due to Hurricane Helene. He was great about moving our dates forward and put us in a bigger house due to the original house still needing repair. Mike and his property manager Cara are excellent. Great team. They were quick to fix things and wanted feedback so they could continue to recover from the damage. Asheville needs tourists and they are open! We had a wonderful weekend strolling downtown and visiting the Grove Park Inn....

'Charming, private cabin on a mountainside yet close to local attractions. We were greeted by wood thrush song and a bear sighting! The high back porch was the perfect spot for coffee, birdwatching, or a good book. Comfy bed, separate lower level we didn’t use also has outdoor access. Great spot!'

It’s and ideal escape for anyone looking to unwind in style and comfort.'

'The house was located in a quiet neighborhood and was very nicely decorated. It had all the amenities I needed for a quick getaway with my husband and daughter.'

'Great communication with host. Didn't realize there was a lower unit that is also rented out but no issues with the tenants. Parking in the driveway is definitely tricky as is getting out of the driveway and turned around, but again, no true issue, just tricky. House was lovely with all necessary bedding, pillows, towels, soaps, etc. Location allowed us easy access to town or hiking. '

'We were in town for a wedding and the house was a great home base for us. There was plenty of space for the kids to play in between events. The porch was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed some beautiful mornings out there. We would absolutely stay there again!'

'This house was wonderful! Plenty of space and close location to so many restaurants and shops to walk to. There were quite a few bugs, which I suppose can be expected in the mountains. And the floors didn't feel especially clean. We also had trouble getting one of the fans in the bedroom to operate. But overall, those were little things and didn't negatively impact our stay too much. We would rent here again!'
