'We loved the location of this property. The owner Stuart was very friendly and was very helpful with getting us settled. The bed was very comfortable, and the little studio had everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc. The location is great I'm West Portal. Just a short walk to tons of restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. '

'Joe's place was just we needed. A sufficient place to lay our heads while visiting San Francisco. About 30 min away. Good for a family on a budget. Kids loved the mini golf course in the back yard.'

'Enjoyed our stay. Hosts we're very welcoming, met us at the property and acquainted us to the home. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking meals, and hosts provided some snacks, tea, and coffee as well. The house is a short walk from public transport. Also in walking distance from a park with play structure for kids. Only downside was bathrooms, which have very little to no counter space.'

'Our overall experience was good. Problem with batteries dying on entry code our second day was quickly rectified. Some upgrades needed in the space. Bad carpet stains. Other physical upgrades needed. Great location though.'

'Great value if you are intending to spend your time out and about. In a good location for both visiting the city and accessibility. Host left a friendly gift on arrival as well.It is frankly a bit tight, and the walls are a thin. So good for sleeping, but best for spending the day out.'

'Great stay out on the Pacific side of the city. Shopping mall down the street for all our needs and incredible restaurants up on Ocean Ave. Especially recommend the Chilequilles up at Lucho’s. Owner was very accommodating to our needs. Great stay '

'We had a WONDERFUL experience at this cozy spot!! The owners were so gracious, and communication was EXCELLENT!! The place is very clean, cute and in the PERFECT location- close to restaurants, shopping and walking distance to the California Academy of Science . It is also a 2 min walk to public transportation. We can’t say enough good things about this place… We definitely recommend it!! Can’t wait to come back!! '

'Generally this is an older, dingier rental. The carpeting is old and stained and because it is a basement unit it is quite dark. Even so at the price point it was perfectly sufficient for what we needed and I was prepared to handle any deficiencies UNTIL the third morning I woke up with bug bites all over my body. I checked the sheets and found mystery bugs in the sheets with me. Terrified of it either being bed bugs or fleas, I immediately packed up and left, but even days later after washing...
