'everything was as expected. A nice place'

'My husband and I stayed recently and loved the inn. Our check was easy, the staff communicated via text to let us know our room was ready. We arrived via the Ferry therefore no parking issues but walking the properly we could see there was plenty of space to park. We enjoyed the wine and cheese. It was a nice way to meet the other guests. We spent time at Captain Nicks just steps from the Inn as well as the Yellow Kittens and McAloons( Irish Pub). 'We were greeted by host as soon as well drove in. The place was clean, smelled clean. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds. Very close to Foxwoods. The bed was great, comfy. Definitely will be back.'

'Check-in was easy and efficient. Diana is a very helpful innkeeper, she went extra distance to send us an item that we left behind in our room. We truly enjoyed quiet serenity of the island on the closing weekend of the season. Hope to return sooner rather than later.'

'It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. '
