'An Incredibles stay. The staff were extremely friendly and very proficient in English for that matter. They were also very patient with my broken Japanese. I felt right at home even after taking a tumble outside. We went to the front desk upon entry and the staff saw my knee, came back and helped me disinfect and bandage my cut - incredible service. The location is excellent, and the building is beautiful extremely tall.'

This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. 'This was a very fun place to stay in the absolute heart of Shinjuku. Omoide Yokocho is only 3 minutes away, go under the traintracks and cross the street and you're in Kabukicho. We had some worries about sound because you're on a very busy street but aside from the very occasional ambulance (twice in 5 nights) we didn't hear much outside noise.
The staff spoke impeccable English and were very friendly.
