'Nice and close to the beach and an easy walk into town. A little noisy during the day with a big construction site right next door but all is quiet by 3:30pm'

'The property had spiders in the bed and cockroaches in the living room and kitchen. For two out of the three days of our stay, the AC in one bedroom was not working. It was fixed on the third day after several calls, but the housekeeping manager did not apologize and mentioned that, being in the countryside, there aren’t many handymen available. Additionally, we were unable to use the hotel facilities since this is a privately owned villa, so the kids couldn’t access the swimming pool or kids...

'Enjoyed stay very much. Facilities good. Host very helpful and approachable. Only hiccups-coffee machine (pods) was leaky and cutlery draw requires attention.We (4) will happily return here in future.'

'We were delighted with our Austinmer escape, the spacious townhouse was very comfortable, thoughtfully fitted out and just 2 minutes to the pool and pretty beach. Lots of local restaurants made our 4 nights perfect and our little dog was happy watching the passing traffic from the front verandah.'

'This property is not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. One member of our party has trouble climbing stairs. Nowhere in the property description does it explain that the apartment is on the second floor of a building. Tenants must climb two flights of stairs to get to the front door. Another flight of stairs inside to get to the kitchen, with the lounge on the first level, guests must continually navigate the stairs to have drinks or snacks.
