'For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....

'The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed 2 nights with my daughter and felt very safe. The location was fabulous and we could walk to everything. I would definitely recommend this establishment to others!

'Marriott was a wonderful spot for our stay in Newport! Central to all the activities - restaurants and bars — shopping etc.
Across from the ballpark was fun!! Took in a Gulls game too.

'This Hotel is great. High end, despite its age. Location is central, making lots of activities walkable. But in/out Valet was available if driving. It is an interesting property. Really enjoyed it and Newport!'
