'We absolutely loved the Whale House! The location is absolutely beautiful and the area was very quiet. The unit had basic kitchen supplies but they were very limited. The in bedroom air was great and the bed was very comfortable. The beach across the street was definitely one of our favorite spots to go and relax. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit and recommend it to anyone going to the Big Island. '

'I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a month while we relocated from Ohio. The owners were easily accessible and very kind. The house was clean and fully stocked. The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. I would recommend this place especially if your looking for something off the beaten path.'

'This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. My only constructive criticism of this property, as well as almost all other VRBOs, is to reduce the unnecessary furniture, bookshelves, and tchotchkes that...

'This is a gem of an Inn with the beach minutes away, so close that you can hear the waves! The property was clean and we had a balcony to sip our coffees in the morning. The location is excellent with the Hilo airport only about 30 minutes away and volcanos national park about 45 minutes. Andy was a great communicative host who gave us awesome recommendations of local places to see.'

'Perfect location, can walk just a short walk to the ocean cliffs and sit and watch the ocean. You can even hear the waves at night from my room. Just a room with bed, microwave, fridge, and bathroom. Nice outdoor table area that is covered so you can eat outside. Highly recommend.'
