'My wife and I booked this property as home base during our honeymoon in Kauai. The location is incredible and property was perfect. It is a small studio with 1 bath and a lanai. They responded promptly via text but with token responses which did not address our questions. 'We’ve stayed at Makahuena Point many times. This unit was great. The kitchen was well stocked and they had all beach supplies we needed — beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, fins, umbrellas. The space was comfortable and had great views. The construction outside of the unit is far away and was not disruptive at all.'

'Positives: 1. The rental process was organized and seamless. 2. Good communication from the property managers. 3. Older unit but well maintained and clean. Very spacious. 4. Great location in Poipu. The only complaint I have is the "oceanfront view" is now mostly a construction view. Would not get this property for the view, but otherwise, was a great rental. Thanks for hosting us!'

'We stayed six nights at this condo. Overall it's a good location for exploring the south part of the island. The condo is a ground floor unit with a nice patio looking out on a lawn and trees. The beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk because this unit is in the back of the complex. When the tide is up there was very little beach.
