We had a room on the second floor, facing the main road, so it was quiet. We loved the location- walkable to bars, restaurants, bakeries, the docks. Parking was available as we were a guest. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant or just sipping coffee on the dock. Some family friendly things as well- giant Jenga, a pool, a grassy area by the docks with seating, fire pits. '

'It was a good place for our family with 2 teens. We had 2 beds and a very small couch. It did not pull out, but was fine for my daughter. My only real complaint about the property is a design flaw—the bathroom doors are frosted glass, so at night, anyone who turned on the light woke up everyone. Had I known, I’d have brought a nightlight. Other than that, no complaints. The bar area was nice, the restaurant was peanut free for all things made on the property, and it all felt clean. 8-10 minute...

'Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...
