'Wauw, wat een leuke plek. We voelden ons meteen thuis toen we binnen kwamen.

'I was able to stay comfortably because the room was clean during the three-day stay.
I also really liked the breakfast, so I ended up eating a lot.
I was satisfied with different egg dishes every day.
The staff were also kind, and if I were to go to Newport again, it would be a place I would want to stay there again.'

'The room was oddly shaped. It is an old building so we expect that. The bathroom needs a table or shelves to hold toothbrushes, etc. Also need a bigger shelf to hold the towels. We had a leak behind the sink and management quickly repaired the leak. Front desk was friendly and very helpful. The morning breakfast was great. It was fresh food not like you get in the hotels. Would recommend this property. It is on Thames Street which has all the shops. Free parking in the back of the...

At this price point, you expect perfection. The beds are adequate, but not as good as a Marriott or Hilton, one toilet ran constantly, as there must have been a small leak, we asked to have it fixed but it never was. It is a who cares complaint unless it is 2am.
Finally, with the fantastic location comes plenty of street noise.
Despite a few minor frustrations, I would recommend the...
