'We had a lovely stay. The place was beautifully clean and upgraded and new. All amenities available. Great golf cart for getting around. Although fits 5 adults/ teens at a push. The bikes were great. But only 2 adult bikes. So bring more if more adults in your party (2 tiny kid bikes too). You could walk to resort / tennis / boathouse etc. lovely screened in deck. Definitely a beautiful spacious place for our family of 5. Thank you!'

'We lost my mother on July 4, and this vacation was booked prior to that awful day. We almost cancelled but decided to go and take my father, who reluctantly went. It was a great time of relaxing for us in our sadness. The house accommodated us well, and the location was quiet and beautiful.'

'The property was perfect for our two families. We loved our long walks on the beach, watching the sunrise, and collecting shells. The kids (and big kids) enjoyed the wildlife, especially the resident alligator.'

'We had a fabulous time at this house! We have rented houses for many years in the Carolinas, and this was the cleanest home we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a beach vacation. It’s located in a wooded area of the island with a fabulous screened porch overlooking a small lagoon. We spent hours relaxing on the porch while watching the birds and deer. We can’t wait to come back!'

We enjoyed wonderful views, lots of wildlife (especially birds), lots of space and different types of space with pleasant decor, a quiet area that’s not touristy, plenty to see and do within a 30 minute drive, generous amounts of cookware and towels, good internet speed. 'The property was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the crabbing/fishing dock. Very clean and easy communication with the owner. Wonderful restaurants within 30 minutes. We had an awesome stay and will be coming back!'

'Location was great. Kitchen very well stocked. First night went to go to bed and there was no bottom sheet on our bed so we had to make do with a flat sheet as there were no extra king-size sheets. The two lamps in the first bedroom have no knobs and can’t be turned on. A lot of the lamps had burned out bulbs. 'A vacation spot with amenities needed for trips to the beach. A clean home with a nice marsh view. We enjoyed our visit.'

'This cottage was well equipped, clean and cute. The back porch and patio furniture could hake been cleaned a bit better....but that was our only complaint. We really appreciated the free pass to Hunting Island State Park. We had perfect weather to enjoy our time at the park.'
