'Yet another wonderful stay at Casa Iguana. It feels like coming home to family. Always so clean (Thank you Carla and ladies!) and everyone is so nice. Lalo takes great care of the grounds and pool and Martha is always fun to talk with in the restaurant. '

'Under different circumstances I probably wouldn’t rate this a 5. But we were able get a room here on February 22 during the cartel activity that delayed our flight home. The staff were very kind the room was clean and the breakfast was included. We felt safe because we were put in an inside wall room. The only negative was the sewer gas smell in the bathroom. The place is unique being made from shipping containers. Nomal circumstances this place is a strong 4'

'Room was clean and got cleaned every day. There is a nice pool. They even have exercise equipment near the pool. Personnel very friendly. Reception speaks a bit of English and was very helpful. Experience was enjoyable. Only thing missing was a refrigerator or mini bar everything else was very good.'

'Our room was amazing as we had our own private pool. The staff are excellent and so darn nice. There was some cartel violence during our stay, and the very limited staff that worked around the clock ROCKED even through their fears, lavk of sleep, and not being able to leave to go home to their families. Is it an older hotel?Yes, are they renovating and doing upgrades?Yes, but despite all that, we are most definitely coming back year after year. This is our place. '
