'Super mooi gelegen met uitzicht op de Arenal en het meer. Wel alleen goed te bereiken met een 4x4 want de laatste kilometer is onverhard de berg op. We hadden een kamer bovenin met mooi uitzicht. Erg netjes en met de beste warme douche die we in Costa Rica hebben gevonden.'

'Here’s a sharper complaint: > This property is a family-run B&B, not a 4-star hotel. With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for. '

'For what we paid, we were pleased with the hotel. The pool is ok, breakfast was really good, choice of American or Tican. Plenty of juice and coffee (you could have multiple cups) The room was ok, clean. Well equipped, it had some shelving to unpack onto, which lots of places don’t have. Big fridge in the common kitchen to use. We didn’t use the common kitchen apart from to use the fridge and kettle. Lots of wildlife about in the garden. It is next to a chicken farm though! 'Het dagelijkse heerlijke ontbijt en de zeer gastvriendelijke moeder (Spaans sprekend) en dochter (ook Engels sprekend) en de prima lokatie t.o.v. alles wat in de omgeving van Monte Verde te beleven is. Minder was de enorm harde wind op deze heuveltop, maar daar slaap je dan wel weer lekker van…en het uitzicht op het veldje vlakbij bij zonsondergang is onvergetelijk mooi.'

'My family's stay at Nafre House over the winter holiday was wonderful. The bed and breakfast is a perfect location for anyone visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the surrounding area, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful, in both English and our attempts at Spanish. They even brought us a New Year's Eve gift. We would recommend Nafre House to anyone visiting this beautiful area. '
