'This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. '

'They were very nice and helpful, but the building itself was slapshod. It looked worn and was built by someone who was not a carpenter. They charged more than a much nicer motel we had stayed in just the day before. The breakfast was great, and the people were very nice.'

'We stayed here for four nights during a longer trip to Costa Rica. It's very central in Tamarindo (it's a small town, so most things are "central"). Perhaps the most delightful part of our visit was the host Augustin. He was very helpful in orientating us in Tamarindo and recommending good businesses in the area and fun activities to pursue.
