'We were greeted in a very nice manner. The room however was outdated and there was a strange noise outside the room. When we complained about this we had an upgrade and that room was much nicer. Never book the cheapest room. We’ve enjoyed our stay but never had a 5-star feeling. Some staff were excellent but others had no idea how to treat a customer. When our room was cleaned the Versace pillows were thrown on the floor. There was an extra sheet laying on my suitcase??? and the curtains were...

'The room was clean the staff friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar staff were great, helps to be able to have your meal delivered to your room. Great for a stay in that area, recommend to other travellers.'

'Old and very tired, in need of refurbishment. Three main things define a quality room - Plumbing, Pillows and Aircon, FAIL on all 3. You can hear other people's plumbing running. The pillows are thin cheap ones probably bought from Coles and the aircon was ineffective. Had to set it to 17C and flat out to even get the room down to a temperature where I wasn't sweating. Hardly slept and won't ever stay here again!'

'Hotel is very nice and clean, beds are awesome with Pillows that I can't find in shops, we had a sea view room, which was well worth it. But for some reason the room had no heating option, and with 14 deg evenings in Winter this was on the borderline of comfort.'

'2-3 star hotel at best. The 5 star is misleading and somewhat false advertising. There is nothing 5 star about the hotel, rooms or experience. Curtains are NOT black out, rooms are NOT soundproofed. Cheap amenities, shower head is a basic handheld. You are provided 2 thin towels. Expect stains. The “king size” bed is the ol 2 single beds mushed together and NOT an actual king size bed. If you want late checkout expect to pay $50 per hour but then get woken by bangs on the door from housekeeping...

'Having the club lounge package was a game changer. We were there to celebrate a significant birthday and the staff were wonderful at making us feel special. The lagoon pool is just amazing and we were lucky to have wonderful winter sunshine ☀️ 🙌🥳'
