'I liked that at night the only way to get into the hotel was with a swipe card, nobody works at the front desk during those night hours so I felt safe. Parking was great and just walking in the area around to get to the restaurants and shopping was really easy.'

'Beautiful old house on quiet street within walking distance of Kennebunkport centre. The house is full of character and has welcoming hosts. The room (The Study) was downstairs and we were the only guests that night, so was very peaceful. Breakfast was cooked by Chris and was delicious.
Will definitely stay here again when we have the chance. '

Onze koffers werden naar de 3e verdieping gebracht met de dienstlift welke al 90 jaar dienst doet incl. traliehekwerk echt helemaal te gek. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer. Een hotel welke je nooit meer vergeet.'

'Our only disappointment with the hotel was that the reservations were for an ocean view room but instead we overlooked the parking lot. The hotel was clean, easily accessible, and included a parking which is definitely needed. The Kennebunk area is very busy and in town driving could be hectic. Reservations for dinning and probably anything else should be done in advance. '

'Stayed here with my grandsons on a quick trip to KPT to visit friends on Goose Rocks. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, grounds and room were clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Short drive to Goose Rocks and even shorter to the Port. Very reasonable rates in an area that can be quite pricey! Would definitely stay again. '

The smores kits every day were a nice touch! We also took advantage of the 15 minute walk to town and 11 minute walk to the beach! Loved our stay!'

Rooms have doors with windows so that people/kids walking by look right into the room. Pool is full of kids and is part of a pool membership which includes more kids than normal.'

'I was looking for a resort on the Maine coast that was dog friendly and the Colony Hotel knocked it out of the park. The facilities are fantastic, beautiful views and a brief walk to downtown Kennebunkport. Lots of dogs families and couples, young and old. We will likely come back every summer from now on.'

'The view is stunning!! It has a really nice pool with comfy seats. The hotel itself is relaxing and quiet. There is a ton of history and it’s so interesting to read about it. The rooms look old-fashioned, but it’s part of the vibe. It was nice that they had coffee and muffins every morning, and you could go out on the big giant porch and just sit and relax and look at the ocean as you drink your coffee.

We loved that the pools closed a little later than most hotels, we had enough time to enjoy our day, get dinner, then go for a night swim. We borrowed dvds from the hotel to watch but the remote for the dvd player was missing but Desmond, the employee was great! He came to our condo immediately to try to help. We were able to figure out how to screen mirror our phone to be able to play a movie. Thank you! '
