'I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All my questions were answered very pleasantly. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay. It was easy to get to and very convienent being in the middle of Great Barrington. The breakfast was nice also. I would stay there again.'

'My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience.
This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room.
Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.'
