'It was nice!'

'We stayed for 4 days and 4 night. The whole time we asked for the trash and fresh towels daily. And not once did housekeeping pick up our trash. And the only young black man that worked nights was any help. He was always polite and he would give us fresh towels. Other than trash not being picked up or not getting fresh towels. That was okay.'

'The breakfast was ok, we decided to skip it, the elevator didn’t work one morning so we had to bring our stuff down from the fourth floor. We didn’t get the room cleaned nor new towels, when I asked for them they told me to go down to get them. Not impressed.'

'Great area for a place to stay. Walking distance to many restaurants. Very quiet in the evenings, clean units and comfortable beds. Everything you need for an extended stay.'

'with the price you pay -you could get a nicer place somewhere else, I just needed to be in that location for my short visit. Staffs were friendly - older building and feels old and some molds in bathroom, carpet was wet and smelly - I did not say nothing since it was a one night stay. Breakfast was decent. Did not use amenities.'

'Very disappointing stay. The room was dirty, had a bad smell, and we even saw cockroaches. The furniture was old and poorly maintained. The listing showed a sofa bed, but it was broken and completely bent, making it impossible to sleep on. We were three people, but there was only one usable bed for two people. Because the sofa bed could not be used, one person had to sleep in the car late at night. Overall, the room was not as advertised and did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort standards....

'The Motel 6 in Lewisville at Medical City and the other near Lakepoint Drive are relics of a bygone era. From the moment you step foot into your popcorn ceiling, cracked floorboards, and hole-in-the-wall-punched wall, you'll be whisked away to the memories of downtown New York City, or Chicago, or anywhere really, where a ghetto may exist. The cockroaches varied in size, from a couple of centimeters to a good old one-inch big boy. For the price of the room, it was $40 too much, out of the $60...

'My first time at the Elm, loved it. Gracious staff, clean, vaulted ceiling spacious room, plenty of lighted, secured parking next to the building, modern electronics plugs, excellent view of the lake as you check in and dine on the 4th floor. I'll be back!'
