'We had a good time in downtown San Jose. The neighborhood was quiet, with a school and community center nearby and a nice Mexican bakery truck a short distance walk away. The home had two spacious bedrooms and a nice living area that we could relax in after hiking. Would visit again!'

'Our family of seven fit very comfortably in this nicely furnished, very well appointed home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that feels safe. The front yard has a fruit tree that has blood oranges. They are delicious. Our daughter that doesn’t like fruit very much was so excited about them. The house is very clean, and has everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. There are stores and restaurants nearby. The VRBO host was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay...

'It’s close to the convention center making it easy to come and go. It was easy to find with the clear directions. The gate to enter does get stuck a bit. The porch light wasn’t on but our cell phone flashlight worked just fine accessing the key. It was a tad stuffy when we walked in but there there was a box fan and ceiling fan accessible making it quite nice. The bottom bunk was very comfortable. The top bunk mattress could be better. My daughter graciously took the top. It sinks in the middle....

'Mattress were the worst I have ever seen. Shower was clogged and either scalding hot or freezing cold. Everything was old and worn, do not believe the pictures. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Ants in every room, home owner unhelpful. 0/5 stars'

'I loved the spacious and simple decor. The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, but it appeared well stocked. It was nice to have coffee and filters available. The area is very quiet. I'd stay here again'

'The guest house is so adorable. Was just the right size for 2 adults, could definitely accommodate 2 more with the couch and other sofa but very comfortable for 2 adults. The shower was big, but would be nice if the shower had more pressure. The place was overall very clean. Except a slight wood smell. Not sure if it's the furniture or the outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would not mind staying here again :) the host didn't leave any instructions indoors and not sure what the wifi...

'My daughter and I visited San Jose and were so fortunate to find this beautiful casita. It sits back behind another house but has nice privacy, beautiful plants and flowers and we were delighted with the lemon tree which we used for cooking. The outdoor space is lovely. The master bedroom is upstairs but that worked for my daughter and me. Driving in at night made it tricky to find as the house numbers were not visible on the house in the dark, but we found our way and enjoyed this beautiful...
