'So nice to stay in this historic hotel, which could be considered an attraction on it's own. We were amazed how clean everything was given the property's age. The location is great too, as the sun is always shining in Waimea (which can absolutely not be said from other places on the island). Some minor comments: the kitchen appliances need an update (let's say they were acceptable in the eighties). '

'Access to our room was easy. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is good and near restaurants and the public pier. There is a lanai with tables and chairs for dining and a view of a small horse ranch bordered by the ocean. '

'The Nene Nest was absolutely perfect! We had most of our meals at the Nest as it was perfect eating on the porch and ending the evening with a card game. We could head to the crowds of Poipu or play in the waves at a quiet beach near by. The canyon was a short drive and a must see! The little store in town has the best poke and everyone was incredibly friendly! We also stayed at a resort on the other side of the island - but preferred the privacy and comfort of this beautiful cottage. We will...
