'Just got back from 3 nights at the Lakeside Hotel. Beautiful hotel and the scenery Lakeside is amazing. So peaceful and so nice to retreat to after a day in places like Bowness. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. A perfect trip and we will be back.'

The room was good and the bed was huge!! It was 2 lovely nights sleep, nice hot shower in the morning followed by a cooked breakfast. It really set me up for the day. I would most certainly revisit and can recommend it for a good place to stay in Kendal.'

'My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.'
