'Comfortable, clean room. The pool area was small but attractive. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The check-in staff remembered us when we returned several days after our initial stay. Plenty of close parking.'

'Came for a weekend trip, chose location because of proximity to main part of Kona where I was able to walk everywhere nearby. Studio unit was perfect for solo trip, saved a lot of money for what I needed although property was being worked on and access through the complex was a bit limited and parking was limited if you arrived late on the plane. First night parked on the street across but no problem either'

'The house was nice generally but the room I stayed in was very musty and smelled like cigarettes. The towels were horribly musty. It’s a must to use bleach on hotel towels but these smelled like it was not being used. The room mattress was way too soft for me. Finally, they required a $200 deposit which was not for incidentals but “in case there’s damage to the room”'

'Overall, experience is disappointing. Fell far short of the $360/night price tag.
- Check-in Mix-Up: Entered our initial room and shocked that it was already occupied by another guest. After calling emergency support, we were quickly reassigned, but received no apology for the mix-up.
- Room: The second room was nicely decorated with a comfortable queen bed, but it was very small, cramped with a tiny 4.5 X 4.5 feet shower stall.

'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy.
Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc.
Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'
