'Huge hotel with lots of different bars, restaurants and facilities. Can seem a bit impersonal and no cosy areas. Outside areas are lovely. Our signature room in floor 6 was very comfortable. No furniture in the balcony was disappointing. The business lounge was nice but only coffee and 1 glass of prosecco was free. Disappointed there was no food in the evening. At breakfast just coffee and croissants. Parking garage was convenient with lift to lobby but £20 per day was steep.'

'Came with my husband and 2 children 4&5) and my inlaws. Husband and father inlaw played golf...they had a fantastic time. Mother in law and i took the children swimming and went to the park. Lots to do wven though the children were too young for the big activities. We couldn't eat at the main restaurant in the evening as there was no space for the 6 of us which was disappointing. I think guests at the hotel should have some sort of priority to dine first. We went to a local pub for our evening...

'Hotel gelegen vlakbij Cardiff Central station en nabij veel restaurants, en op wandelafstand van het kasteel en centrum. Kamer was een beetje klein voor het bed, maar anders wel comfortabel als je alleen bent. '

'Room was sound. Great view across the water. Extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a chinook was landing but no bother really. Drainage to the shower drain wasn't great but didn't quite overflow. Overall, very pleasant! '

'We had lovely stay. The staff at checkin were friendly amd helpful. Our room was tidy and the little extras like a small fridge, iron etc came in useful. We bought some time in the spa area which was very nice. The aroma room and open air spa pool were especially nice. The swimming pool is quite narrow so if you are intending to swim laps you might struggle when busy as it can only take two swimmers comfortably.
