'While the restaurants and pool areas are maintained, the rooms need a facelift. I came to the palace resorts about 30 years ago and no decor has changed in the rooms. It could use some “polishing”. On the flip side, the price reflected it nicely. '

'Great room and grounds. Food was decent. If you’re looking for the same standard as Excellence Playa Mujeres, it’s just not the same. There isn’t much going on at the resort. Kinda feels like the little sister to the original resort. If you’re looking to relax and not look for much else then this is the perfect place to go. '

'We stayed on the Coral Level and had a beautiful view of the pool and all of the activities that took place on the Coral side. The main resort was nice but we couldn't be happier that we upgraded to the coral level. Far more relaxed and adult centered. Food and Drink were fantastic and the staff were great. Would certainly consider visiting again. '
