'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view...

'The stay was great! This is an older property and the pool area as well as the bathrooms show their age, but everything was clean and tidy. The mattress was ok, but not something you would want to sleep on for more than a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay at The Capes again, no question.'
