'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view...

'Room was clean and breakfast as a part of room charges was very nice. Location of the hotel is excellent. But the hotel is pretty old form the looks of it. Flooring and carpeting is worn out. Bathroom is very cramped and has low ceiling. Oceanfacing living room is nice and boardwalk and beach entry is right next to hotel. Overall a mixed bag. Room Rates are high due to peak tourist time.'

'The front desk receptionist wished my mother a happy birthday when we arrived (Juneteenth baby), and didnt know my brother had a gift set up in our room ready for her. A few hiccups because its during a busy holiday week & season. Only one elevator available to use & it was hectic pulling in the small parking lot, but thank goodness for valet. The view of the beach is beautiful from the balcony. Lively staff. If you do book here, arrive maybe a few minutes early if you can despite the 4pm check...

'The actual property was clean. Wished it was help when we arrived to get a cart. I also saw an older couple that had to get a cart and get their own things on a cart. It was Juneteeth weekend with No live R& B music for entertainment or nothing representing Happy JUNETEENTH. Asked for wash cloth and towels in the am, had to call again and received it that evening.'

'Starts off with the tiniest circle to pull your car up in. It was backed up into the street. The elevator doors will literally close on you. The water pressure is horrible in the shower. About threw my back out trying to open the door to the balcony everytime. Smelled of cigs and weed each time the air came on, the air also sounding like our trash collection truck that comes to our house each week.'

'I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s our spot. We’ve stayed here before, but this time the kids and I decided to make it our permanent Virginia Beach place. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful as well. It’s a really short walk to the beach from the parking lot.
