'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view...

'The room was definitely stuck in a time warp, but it was spotless and super comfy—like your grandma’s house if she were a neat freak with a passion for fluffy pillows. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and while there’s no elevator (cue the unexpected leg workout), it was totally worth it just to sit on the balcony, watch dolphins flipping around like they were on break from SeaWorld, and enjoy a front-row seat to a dramatic thunderstorm. Bonus entertainment: watching beachgoers sprint for their lives...

'The staff are amazing and although dated the room very clean and comfortable.
The only draw back is the parking spaces are tight and spread out in different locations. 1 day we were able to park on lot the next few we had to park further away in other lots.

'The property is in a great location, the staff is attentive and always helpful - no matter what time of day or night, great breakfast, can rent chairs and umbrellas on beach, you can valet one car per room and the best part is you can bring your dog. There were multiple dogs during our stay so was able to get my dog fix. Also, excellent for families. '

'No fuss. Clean. Friendly staff who all seemed genuinely happy. One of the better "included-breakfasts" I've seen. Nice workout facility where all the machines were in good working condition. Nice, clean indoor pool and hot-tub. All in all, a hotel I'll definitely be planning to visit again.'

'Love the room design with 2 king beds separated by the bathroom. The only complaint was a terrible shower head and almost no water pressure. The included breakfast was pretty good and they have a good selection of universal weight machines in the fitness center. '

From the amazing front desk woman with the glasses, to the young African American staff kid, everyone was just so inviting and helpful. We traveled from Jersey and spent most of the week on the Ocean Front (Marriot Sheraton 4 points), but we wanted to slow things down a bit for the last day of our trip and we're glad we did.
