The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.

The hotel has a great vibe, good amenities, the people are really helpful and its location is very central.

'Very convenient location. A few minutes from sanjo train station and buses. Walkable to gion and shopping. In a quiet street and they offer free drinks at the cafe throughout the day. I highly recommend.'

'교토의 마치야를 깔끔히 개조한 곳으로 위치가 기온이나 히가시야마를 도보로 둘러보기에 아주 좋습니다. 다른 먼 곳으로 이동하기에도 버스정류장이 바로 앞에 있어서 아주 편했어요. 골목길 안쪽에 숙소가 위치해 있어서 소음도 들리지 않고, 1층과 2층이 분리되어 있어서 휴식과 수면을 공간 분리해서 이용할 수 있어 좋았어요. 아이와 함께 갔는데 아이가 2층으로 올라가는 걸 아주 좋아했습니다. 단지 신장 180cm가 넘는 가족은 공간과 공간 사이를 이동할 때마다 천장 구조물에 부딪히지 않도록 허리를 굽혀야 해서 조금 불편해했어요. 그것 외에는 관리자와 소통도 아주 원활히 잘 되었고, 많이 배려해주셔서 감사했습니다.'

'Beautiful boutique hotel on a lovely quiet street in the heart of Gion. Our room was on the 4th floor with a view over the rooftops of Kyoto- very charming. Decent size room for a small hotel. Staff was friendly- location just perfect.

'This was an amazing gem of the property that was close to the GION district. Super walkable to the metro center we traveled all over the Kyoto area, including going to Nara Park and the bamboo forest on the west side of town. The room was awesome for my family 04 with two small boys and everything was on point easy check-in zero hassle and just overall pleasure to be there.'

Je zit wel midden in de drukte van het centrum en daardoor kan er soms wat geluiden vanaf de straat komen (motoren etc) "
