'Centraal gelegen verblijf. Vlakbij Nishi markt en de drukte van Gion. Schone kamers en comfortabel bedden. Wij hadden double beds, waardoor het bed ook groot was. Goede douches en een ruim bad. Gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. Amenities wederom gratis beschikbaar bij de receptie. Elke dag kreeg je gratis handboeken, deze werden voor de deur neergelegd als je ‘niet storen’ op je deur had. 'This was probably the nicest Hilton I've stayed in. The room was great, clean, modern, total black-out, well appointed. The restaurant options were great. We tried the rooftop, it was fine but the views weren't great. Definitely recommend it. '

'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...

'We loved this hotel, and had a great 4 day stay in Kyoto. Very upscale and peaceful, in a quiet, non-touristy neighbourhood, with lots of convenient travel options. And we ended up in nearby underground jazz bar Zac Baran twice, as well as a tiny local restaurant about 15 minutes walk west, same side of street as hotel, called kawahigashi (it also says 'food and beverage' in English outside). We were the only people on a weeknight, with a single chef/server doing everything, and the food was...
