'Wow!!! I have.never been more disappointed and dissatisfied by a hotel than Coronado. Arrival- nobody to get luggage out of car. No service to get into your room (unless you want to wait 2-3 hours he said) Check in- 2 people to check in - 25 minute wait the staff were weird like they joined a week before- didn’t even give us proper directions in this massive property to our room. Room- cute Bathroom- frayed towels!!! Room service - basically non- existent Called for water- 45 mins nobody...

'Good location, close to restaurant, shops and about 5 mins to Hotel Del and beach. I just didn't like that we were assigned to ADA room. Don't like the bathroom layout. Overall, we liked this hotel and morning pastries.'

'Ocean view villa was deceiving when you primarily are looking at the pool, but there was a sliver if you look to the side. Room was nice but underwhelming. Location perfect for the long weekend, would stay again but probably wouldn’t opt to pay extra for ocean villa'

'The hotel hadn’t transferred the Expedia booking into their system, so they didn’t show they had a reservation for us. Took about 30+ minutes to clear that up. Parking was a mess. They assigned a parking spot, but someone was in it. Room was located over some shops and was noisy at night.'

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'This place was a perfect location. It wasn’t crowded. Walking distance to the many wonderful restaurants. The hotel offered all the beach supplies you could think of. Sun block, sun glasses, flip flops, towels, chairs, etc. We were so thankful for that. The staff is very friendly and helpful.'
