'Great comms and lovely welcome from Luba and Chris for our two night stay. Easy to find and parking right next to the front door. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very peaceful with two spacious doubles, both with their own TV and modern en-suite facilities. Comfortable lounge with wood burner, TV and jigsaw ready to go - all with lovely views over to Hardy's Monument. Ideal location for visiting the local area by car - we went to Weymouth (Catch! restaurant was fab), Dorchester, Poundbury,...

'Leuke locatie op een voormalige historische boerderij. Veel wandelmogelijkheden aan strand en platteland in de buurt. Huisje is goed ingericht en biedt voldoende ruimte. Mooie tuin rondom om buiten te zitten.'

'Valentine Cottage ligt fijn ten opzichte van het dorp en het strand. Parkeren is wat lastig. Eigenaar is (alleen via mail contact gehad) heel vriendelijk en reageerde goed op onze klacht. Klacht is dat het huis niet schoon was. Ook nadeel dat er erg veel trappen en treden in het huis zijn. Geen lekkere stoel om buiten te zitten. Douchen is een ramp. Kan niet rechtop staan, maar moet in smal bad. Water niet goed op temperatuur te houden en weinig waterdruk. Als pleister op de wonde mochten we...

'We had a lovely stay at this property, privacy and peace, which was just what we were looking for, only sorry that we couldn't stay longer! The cottage was excellent, with everything you need for a short stay, and very well equipped. There was fresh bread, milk, jam, Lurpak (my preference), and even some locally made biscuits, which were lovely, all provided by our Host Ruth, thank you Ruth. We will be booking again!'

'The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with lots of mod cons (washing machine, dishwasher, luxury shower).The farm is peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer stroll around the neighbouring field.We take our dogs and they love the dog walking field. The hosts are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this and will be returning. '

'The house if located in a peaceful village of Melcombe Bingham, surrounded by thatched roof cottages and shielded from views by lush green of the garden. We barely saw or heard any neighbours in our 4 days there. The house is quite spacious (more than it may seem from the outside) and has a great home feeling to it. The host was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Greygles and would be happy to return.'

'The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up.
