'A lovely cottage for some true peace and quiet away from the city. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is built for someone short - so just beware if you are over 5’4” it’s going to require a lot of slouching! Overall, a truly peaceful stay. '

'My friends booked a last minute staycation to catch up in one place. This place had all the amenities to bring groceries and hunker down for the weekend. The grounds were gorgeous and all the home spaces were cozy. Also, the owner was incredibly communicative before the stay and when we had a few questions during. I hope to find a reason to stay here again in the future.'

'We loved our stay at Heron's Hideaway. The house was immaculately clean. The host provided lots of accommodations - plenty of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, pool towels, etc. Kim was great to work with and responded to all of our communication immediately. The house is a perfect spot to camp out and relax. We visited a couple small beaches within an hour of the house, and Williamsburg but could easily see staying at the house the whole time between the pool, dock, and kayaks. '
