'Great location for the UT game, room was spacious and clean, staff are super helpful & friendly. Nice breakfast buffet each morning. Free parking which is a huge bonus in Austin. Right next to Lady Bird Lake with walking trails and kayak & paddle board rentals onsite The power did go out one night but they worked quickly to restore it. I would definitely stay again '

'It's a perfectly fine hotel, especially for the price. The front desk lady was courteous during check-in. The king bed was comfortable, and there were pillows with varying softness. The free breakfast had a wide variety, including fresh fruits (oranges and bananas). Negative: the elevator buttons were pretty worn out. You had to press the button pretty hard to register the floor you wanted. The button for the second floor didn't even light up once pressed, so you couldn't tell if it would...

'Wife and I wanted to get away for a quick trip to take our dog hiking and see the Harry Potter thing they had in Bastrop. This place was a great, easy location for trails and coffee shops around. Nice driveway to use and the bedding was very comfortable! '

"I had a very disappointing stay at this Super 8. The room smelled strongly of mold and was very dark and damp, making it uncomfortable to spend any time in. The air felt heavy, and it seemed like there was little to no ventilation. The shower was another issue—the water had a strange, unpleasant smell and the water pressure was uncomfortably strong. It didn’t feel clean or refreshing at all. To top it off, the swimming pool didn’t seem well-maintained either. The water didn’t look clean and there was no shade… Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel unless some serious improvements are made"
