'The property was beautiful. Right next to the water. Very peaceful. The rooms and hallways were dated and needed remodeling. Bed was very comfortable. Staff is great. Bar and lounge area comfortable and view beautiful! Self parking needed to be resurfaced!'

'Place was nice. They have lovely four cats and that’s the one of the main reason why we like this place. They also provide all useful gears for guests to use like beach chairs, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, laundry stuffs, etc. The only thing I would like to say is the orange cat’s eyes has some illness issue. We waren die dag toch de hele dag op excursie (van 7 uur ‘s morgens tot 7 uur ‘s avonds). Echter toen we terug bij de kamer kwamen stond de deur gewoon open…. 'This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. If I get back to the Big Island I'll be coming back here! Thank you for the great time!'

'I would give a higher rating but there were construction noises everyday since our first day in the room next door. I asked my elderly mother if we should request another room but she said that would be difficult for her to pack and move again. My suggestion is to advise the guest at the front desk before they unpack that there is construction in the next room so they are informed and offered a room with no construction going on next door and comp the guest or refund if its a downgrade.
