She walked you through everything and even though she has a 6 hour time difference from the home she is readily available to help with any questions and also has people close by if there is a need (which of course there wasn’t!). 'This is an attractive, well-laid out house with an extremely accommodating owner. The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath.'

'The property is beautiful; we had such a great time as a party of 7 adults and 5 young kids. The walk to the beach was short but a little tricky because the first half has no sidewalk but still super convenient and better than paying $65/day to park in Cove Beach lot! One very minor note is there were a couple items missing from the house and Elena was super responsive in dropping them off for us quickly. We had a great stay!'

'We had a nice time staying here. The place is just as described. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had things to do in Purchase and in NYC and the location was perfect for us. I got to meet the owner and he even contacted me when I parked incorrectly so I could avoid a parking ticket. There is a grocery store, Costco, pharmacy, restaurants, and many other businesses very close to. If I have to go back next year, I will be looking to see if this rental is available again.'

We could have used a curtain to better block the light for sleeping and a sharper knife (we must be the only people who cooked so much during a stay in NYC...as I said, our kiddo didn't love going out on the town), but other than that, the stay was perfect. 'I (from Switzerland) was visiting New York with my 15 year old teenager daughter. We used the place mainly just to sleep and for that it was okay. Nothing exceptional, but okay value for money. We were warned by local friends that the area is dangerous, but felt safe walking in and out of Harlem to the city as well as by tube at all times and had a really good time in NYC. Took a while to get the Wlan going due to a wrong password on the webpage, which should be corrected. Had no contact with...
