'Between the location, the property itself, cleanliness and all the amenities this is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. And that is still true even with the major drawback of the property- the pull out bed in the second bedroom. This is not a top tier pull out in terms of comfort. If I stayed again I would bring an air mattress. But even including this bed, the stay here was amazing abd obe of the best VRBO experiences I have had.'

'We spent 3 nights at Howie’s Retreat. He is a marvellous host. Warm, welcoming and personable. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is not a single thing that Howie has not provided for your comfort. If it isn’t there, you don’t need it. If anything isn’t right, he will go out of his way to fix it in a timely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is lovely too. A real home away from home. A perfect little nest for when you are not out exploring the area. Great...

'A very nice and clean house. Everything is present in the house. Good and nice communication with the owner. The bus stop is in front of the door and with the bus and the seabus you are downtown Vancouver within an hour.'

'This place was perfectly suited and located for our family of 5. The rooms were clean and the property was very well cared for both inside and out. We would come again if the opportunity arises.'

'We enjoyed a peaceful week at this log cabin. It has a lovely front porch and larger side deck for sitting and enjoying the serene surroundings. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a handy mud/laundry room. The hosts are helpful and warm and we enjoyed the daily visits from Rancher, their black Labrador. We hope to be able to return again in the future.'

'A very nice home with beautiful views. Very well appointed kitchen and nice natural light in the main living area. The beds were very comfortable and the master bath was wonderful for soaks. Very close to shopping and walking trails. The front bedroom was a little noisy with traffic but the rest of the home was very quiet. Overall a wonderful space and we would come back again if in the area.'

'Property was great, we had a bit of challenge with the restavio app to check in and get our check instructions. We got hold of customer service and property manager who assisted us gettint in. '

'Great location, met our needs. Wrong code sent to us for check-in and no one answered emergency property #. Had to email the owner, but got a prompt response with correct code. Clean, tidy. There were a couple of things that could have made it a more comfortable experience. The dishwasher smelled awful, I suspect the drain needs to be cleaned. There were no streaming services available, no extra towels, weird things like liquid soap had been refilled in a foam dispenser so you had to fight it...
