'Horrible experience, my family and I drove there from Miami Florida. It’s a 12 hour drive, some of us had to work the first day so we left a little bit late. We didn’t get to this lodge until 5:45 am. I had spoken to ray and he had given me the door code for my room. When we arrived I opened the door at first glance everything looked fine. 'You can tell the staff truly cares about the property. Everything was clean, the bathrooms were updated, the front desk attendant was very personable. My kids loved the towel elephant on the bed waiting for us too. The walking distance to the island was more convenient than if we had parked in the parking lot at the island. I’d definitely stay here again. '
