'Fantastic hotel. Staff were so helpful and friendly, even taking our washing out of the machine for us when we accidentally put on a wash that finished in the middle of the night! Room was western-style but with lovely Japanese touches like sliding doors on the windows. The room was huge - the photos don't do it justice. 'Nieuw Hotel in Gion. De locatie is perfect voor veel bezienswaardigheden in Kyoto. Om de hoek waan je je in het oude Kyoto. Personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam. Mooie badkamer! 'We have a wonderful stay. The room size was a bit smaller than I had anticipated but that is to be expected given the location. And it’s away from the chaos. The location was perfect and was close to the public transportation and right in the Gion district. There were times I felt transported to the past which was surreal and made the trip more enjoyable. Staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect a luxurious experience but expect a truly authentic one which is priceless. '

'Centraal gelegen verblijf. Vlakbij Nishi markt en de drukte van Gion. Schone kamers en comfortabel bedden. Wij hadden double beds, waardoor het bed ook groot was. Goede douches en een ruim bad. Gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. Amenities wederom gratis beschikbaar bij de receptie. Elke dag kreeg je gratis handboeken, deze werden voor de deur neergelegd als je ‘niet storen’ op je deur had. 'Our stay in Kyoto at the Resi Stay was wonderful. We were able to send some of our luggage ahead, and it was waiting for us at the check-in counter across the street from the train station, which is where you check in. We stayed in 1F and it was huge and very quiet, and it had laundry. We loved exploring Kyoto from this location, as it's so close to a very cute part. We only wish we made a better plan for seeing the rest of Kyoto. It's big and spread out. '
