'I took my daughter for a mother-daughter trip prior to her heading off to college, and this was the perfect spot! Close to everything we wanted to do in Charleston, including King Street. Our host thought of everything, including local treats and tips for places to eat/drink in the area. The bed was comfy, the shower fantastic, and the kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!'

'We enjoyed our stay last summer at the Cottage and decided to stay here again this year. It was very clean upon arrival and had a wonderful scent in the air that lasted all week. Comfortable bed, clean and good quality bed linens. Lots of pillow options depending on your comfort level. Couch is very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with essentials. It is the perfect size for what we need and a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. We plan to return again next year! '

'This hidden gem is tucked away, but also in a lively part of town which will meet all your expectations and beyond! Absolutely spotless clean and the hosts make you feel like you are at a home away from home! Tucked away in a backyard garden setting which is breathtaking. Great local food scene less than a 1/2 mile walk with some of the highest rated restaurants in Charleston. Fabulous BBQ at Swig & Swine we walked there twice in our stay for dinner! Short ride or uber to downtown Charleston....

'We've been coming to IOP for 6 years now and 5th stay with Marilyn! This house is perfect for us. The first year we stayed downstairs and then the other years we've stayed upstairs with our daughter. The location is so perfect, easy walk to the beach, quick drive to Sullivan's and Charleston. As soon as you walk in, it smells so clean from the fridge to the bedsheets! We found a bug or two but that's expected in the humid, June/July IOP climate! 'We had a wonderful stay! We were looking for something for a long weekend stay and this place was perfect! Close to everything and such a comfortable stay. Jaime was amazing. From answering our pre-book questions to coming outside to help us find a lost car key fob during our stay, I can't say enough good things! Next time we are back in Mount Pleasant, we will be booking again!'

'We had a great time with our military family fishing off the dock, cooking meals in the kitchen, and playing card games around the large dining room table. Large deck out back we relaxed on and enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Upstairs got a little warm at night but understand heat rises. Close walk to beach, pier, restaurants, and shops. We rented a golf card to explore but not needed to get to the beach, pier, restaurants, and shops.'

'Great location with super cute decor! A few minor suggestions could make the stay more enjoyable - possibly an additional shelf or storage option in the bathroom and a full length mirror would be great! The humidifier needs constant dumping but we didn't mind at all. The overhead light was not working during our stay and was reported but was not a major issue.'
