'Awesome place. The afternoon tea is a bonus. I would recommend adding a fabulous coffee machine at breakfast (like they have at afternoon tea) and a few more breakfast items to choose from. The made to order eggs delicious. '

'Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.'

'This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. '

'Very spacious and clean rooms, having a washing machine and dryer inside the room was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is walkable and in a safe area. "Centraal gelegen verblijf. Vlakbij Nishi markt en de drukte van Gion. Schone kamers en comfortabel bedden. Wij hadden double beds, waardoor het bed ook groot was. Goede douches en een ruim bad. Gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. Amenities wederom gratis beschikbaar bij de receptie. Elke dag kreeg je gratis handboeken, deze werden voor de deur neergelegd als je ‘niet storen’ op je deur had. Half uurtje lopen vanaf Kyoto station en meerdere bus haltes vlakbij het hotel. Klein half uurtje lopen van Yasaka Shrine. Erg geschikt voor een kort verblijf in Kyoto omdat je zo centraal zit. Je zit wel midden in de drukte van het centrum en daardoor kan er soms wat geluiden vanaf de straat komen (motoren etc) "
