'This is a very old property. The apartment has been cosmetically upgraded, but the infrastructure is poor. We intentionally booked a place with two bathrooms but had only one working bathroom for one night (shower failure) and one working toilet for all three nights. The property manager was very responsive but the toilet issue could not be fixed during our stay.The apartment is lacking in cleanliness. 'It felt like walking into a family or friends home. So warm and welcoming. If we had forgotten to bring anything...no worries. The cottage is fully stocked with things you didn’t expect or even know you’d need! We enjoyed all the unique decor that prompted many conversations. My husband enjoyed looking through the recipe boxes he found and even made copies of some of them. If we ever find ourselves back in the Houston area, this is exactly where we’ll be staying.
