'The indoor pool is down and looks like a pond. The grounds by the road really needs to be cleaned up because it looks like a garage truck exploded but I’m pretty sure the state is supposed to maintaining roads and ditches. Either way, I’d clean it if I owned the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.'

'I loved this hotel! Was not disappointed with anything. Its located right next to the beach you walk out and you're there. Rooms are clean lots of small touches that cater to guests. Full self service snack area, staff professional but very courteous and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants and entertainment never need to drive anywhere unless you choose. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Surfside ⛱️ beach.'

'The hotel is very run down, but, one of the few that is pet friendly. We just wanted a quick beach getaway.. upon entering the bathroom, there was a huge dead cockroach and what looked like mouse turds… I cleaned that up…. The gal at the front desk was awesome.. did not get her name.. but the whole place smelled like pot… Would I stay there again, only in an emergency.'

'The room 505/beds were clean. There was plenty of hot water. The air worked fine. The room phone didn’t work. The pool area was out of order. The safety locks in the room were missing. I put the office chair in the door way. It had squeaky wheels and I would be able to hear someone come in. The barn door wouldn’t close all the way to the bathroom. The plaster was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower caddy was missing from the wall. There were 2 bars of dove soap but no shampoo...
