'We loved this place! Felicia was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We felt very welcome when we walked in. The history of the inn was so incredible. The bar area was wonderful and so was the bartender. We stayed in one of the King suites. It was so clean and peaceful. We will definitely be back.'

'While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. I shared the room with others so I would have liked a closed stall without the water spillage. 'The property is mediocre. The floors were pretty dirty. The grounds had trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn't work. I was thankful to only be there one day. Great if you are a smoker with pets to stay for a night but that's about it. No coffee maker in the room but there was a dunks nearby. Definitely needs to be cleaned up. I never even saw any staff but the one lady at the desk. I definitely could have gotten more for the price. '

'I felt like this place was a bargain, especially with breakfast included! We stayed in April just before their weddings started, and it was very quiet. We had a nice view of the water from our room, and the grounds are stunning! It was clean and perfect for an overnight. People with lots of luggage or mobility issues should note that there is no elevator. You also cannot control your room's temperature, and it was a bit warmer than I like for sleeping.
