'Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. '

'We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute. Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. '

'A really cool place. Sharon and Stephen were wonderful hosts (this is a small ‘condo’ downstairs on their property). Very comfortable, parking is doorside w a private entrance. Beautifully landscaped yard. Kitchen is well stocked w/ utensils and basic seasonings/condiments for cooking. Walk-in shower and adjacent outdoor shower. Seaview is definitely off the beaten path—20 min drive to town down a road w/ incredible scenery. My favorite was listening to the sounds of the jungle at night...

'Very quiet neighborhood. Centrally located for National Park, Fissure 8 tours, and Hilo adventures. Loved having snorkel equipment, beach towels, and ice chest to use...very thoughtful touches! Loved the quantity of bedrooms. FYI if it matters to anyone considering this property, there was no dishwasher. (When we booked and at time of this review, the listing indicates a dishwasher under "About This Property" and under "Amenities".)'
