'We stayed at Yadotu Kyoto Hanare for 6 days and it was amazung!! This place is truly extraordinary - you get lots of space, full comfort and luxury in real, authentic Japanese way. It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. It made our adventure in Japan even more unforgettable. I would highly recommend this amazing place.'

'Very modern and sleek lobby and hallways but more traditional looking rooms, though with a modern flare. This is not a cute old-style ryokan. It's a super modern hotel tucked into a quiet, perfectly-located neighborhood that deceptively has a ton of shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff helpful.'

'Awesome place. The afternoon tea is a bonus. I would recommend adding a fabulous coffee machine at breakfast (like they have at afternoon tea) and a few more breakfast items to choose from. The made to order eggs delicious. '

'I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel
As a family of four from Canada, it was unbelievable
Rooms were much bigger than the other hotels we found and there was so much to do
Young cool vibe in the lobby, with great music paying and a young friendly hip staff working all around.
Coffee shop was amazing, we had the lates and breakfast croissant and it was perfect for breakfast

'The host is very welcoming and enthusiastic to share places around. This is a traditional Japanese style living on tatami and Japanese futon along with a shared public bath. You will have the best rest sleeping on those futon in this quiet neighborhood. 7-11, Daiso, coin laundry and buses to major attractions are all within 5min of walk. '

"Kyoto Brighton is een prachtig hotel voor een verblijf in Kyoto. Het ligt niet echt centraal maar door hun privé (gratis)ter beschikking gestelde taxi bus die elk kwartier reed van en naar metro station is dit geen probleem. Het hotel had het beste ontbijt dat wij tijdens onze Japan reis hebben gehad. Voor wat betreft westers dan. Er werd continue bijgevuld yoghurt, fruit, wafels, broodjes. De kamers zijn groot en schoon. Alleen hadden wij het idee dat de biertjes in de koelkast voor ons waren dus hebben we de eerste dag lekker genoten van een biertje allebei en de volgende dag hebben we er eentje gedeeld. Pas bij het afrekenen bleek dat dit dus de minibar was. Het stond ons inziens nergens aangegeven. Maar okay ze waren lekker dus betaal je ervoor bij het uit checken. "
