'My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cleanliness of the apartment. We checked in with a code and the place was all ready for us, along with water and coffee to start our day. The owner Brian was very personable and was even helpful to me, because I’m a bit handicapped. He happened to be at the unit the day we were leaving and helped my wife and I load my vehicle. If we ever go up to that area again and we will need a place to stay, this will be our 1st choice.'

Pros:Close to plenty of tastings and restaurants in town, 1-5 minute drive to most places in geneva.Place is very clean, one of the cleanest I've stayed in.Host communication was very good.Comfortable bed and pillows.Cons:50 feet from a main highway.Small and tight driveway.Right next to frat houses, could hear their music until 9 pm.Small shower.No microwave.Bed is in the main living area.Unit is not made for multiple couples. 'Myself and my very good from high school were celebrating our 60th birthdays. We and our spouses spent the day in Skaneateles, took a boat tour and shopped. We had an excellent dinner at Elderberry Pond and stayed at Steel hideaway.It was a good location, clean, and we loved the deck. The owner was extremely responsive when I had some trouble getting in and then leaving, both my fault and lack of knowledge. The owner was patient and responded quickly which we appreciated. We would stay again if...

'Shelwyn was awesome to deal with. He responded ASAP when we had a question about the shower. Was upfront and helpful. He was in his house on the property but gave us our privacy. The last day of our stay he said take your time getting out because he didn’t have another booking following us. Worked out great as we were moving onto a bigger spot with the rest of our family on Saturday but couldn’t check in until 4. Thank you Shelwyn for everything and being so easy to deal with- we will be back !!'

'Fantastic studio! The hosts of this charming VRBO have thought of everything, making our stay delightful. The accommodations are as nice if not nicer than suggested by the photos. My husband and I found this to be the perfect location for hiking at Watkins Glen & visiting local wineries and breweries. I enjoyed reading my book on the deck while having my morning coffee. The hosts left plenty of literature to help us become acquainted with the area and spoiled us with snacks, a bottle of wine...

'We thought the property was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, great location to Watkins Glen and plenty of wineries nearby. The firepit was a great plus with plenty of wood. Plenty of space to park and it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again! Would suggest a few more washcloths and towels. '
