'This was the best best place to stay in Folly Beach hands down. It was next to the beach and within walking distance of all the shops and all the restaurants. The rooms were exceptionally clean and felt very cozy. It was way better than a soulless hotel room, you could feel the history in every plank of wood. This is a basement in every way which wasn’t very clear in the description of listing - avoid this place if you’re over 6’ 1” due to low ceilings. The ceilings are thin and the family upstairs wakes promptly at 6:40 AM every morning including weekends and tend to be heavy footed - we would have loved to sleep in but we all couldn’t sleep through the stomping.
