'The location was sketchy. There were open lots full of glass and trash on multiple sides. It's on a street with three different police stations and you hear sirens at all hours of the night. Just up the street in any direction are people smoking pot, sitting on stoops, and looking at you with a mean look. There is a homeless shelter on the next block. Inside was newer and clean, but the quality of the construction is SO poor that it's embarrassing. See photos. Each room had a mini split...

'Dated facility. Lots of construction, which was not mentioned during reservation process. No ice on 4th floor. Late check in requirements were also not communicated. My reservation was removed, and had to wait 20 mins to get it reinstated after arriving in the early AM. Not the value I was expecting. '

'Everything was fine. Not sure why they need to charge so much for parking. There is plenty, and charging seems unnecessary. I was given a password for the wifi, but the wifi was unsecured and didn't require a password. Otherwise, everything was fine.'

'I messaged them that I would have a very late check in and it was easy to check in when I arrived. I wish they would put a note somewhere that the lobby is not ground level but on the 3rd floor. I understand why they do this on the elevator but there has to be a more efficient way as the room key not always was detectable specially with luggage and kids in hand. Breakfast was good but messy not enough staff cleaning up behind people and also people not cleaning up after themselves. The room...

'Beautiful guest house, lovely area. We loved our stay there. Quaint place, quiet and friendly. Rooms comfortable and very different from the modern day hotels. Refreshing. Lovely home cooked breakfast. Jeanette really welcoming and helpful.'

'It’s mainly a private club that has about 14 rooms. The rooms are on a floor with the restaurant and bar. They are tucked away in a dark hallway. The location of the club was perfect for our needs and about a 10-15 minute walk to Rittenhouse.'
