'We enjoyed staying here, but our dog Bailey loved it. She watched the sheep intently through the fence. The house was very quiet and well stocked. The breakfast fixings were really appreciated. '

We saw several deer, morning & evenings, squirrels, lizards, hummingbirds, cardinals, a lg fox and even a wild pig. Everything we needed and then some was provided. 'My mom and I took our two pups to the Winecup cabin at Rivers Edge Cottages. It was a very relaxing, peaceful time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. The pavilion was nice to sit by the fire pits and I could see games provided, although we didn’t play them.A bit of a drive to town but not to far to enjoy Fredricksburg. We enjoyed the Augusta winery nearby very much. We would stay here again. '

'We reserved this place specifically because it had a private hot tub. After paying 4x the normal nightly rate because we stayed during the eclipse, the private hot tub never worked. We tried it the first night and it did not work but so decided to try it again in the morning when we could see the controls better. I then spent most of my day texting back and forth with the property management company, Cozi Rental, while I was trying to enjoy the eclipse event. After several troubleshooting tips...

'Our stay in the Bluebonnet cabin was great. The property management company responded via promptly and handled everything we requested. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The cabins are close together, and the view from the porch looked directly at the back of the cabin in front of us, which was a bit disappointing. The location is close enough to town for easy access but far enough away to escape the crowds. '
