'We had an amazing 3 day stay at Art Mon Zen. From the moment we arrived to leaving, the staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. Probably the best hotel stay in Japan. Overall, the room was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day visiting all the sensational sights in Kyoto. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay near the main Gion district in Kyoto.'

'Nieuw Hotel in Gion. De locatie is perfect voor veel bezienswaardigheden in Kyoto. Om de hoek waan je je in het oude Kyoto. Personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam. Mooie badkamer! Onze kamer had niet echt een uitzicht. De ramen gaan maar op een kier open. Het is wel heel stil. Net een nest waar je naar terugkeert ..heerlijk'

'The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay in Kyoto this fall. Walking distance to so many temples, gardens, steps from the Geisha district, shopping & restaurants. The pictures I saw on google maps of the street and immediate surroundings looked a little iffy, but it was just fine, and very quiet. The hotel was absolutely spotless and very comfortable; the staff fabulous, and the small restaurant well run with a very decent breakfast at a reasonable price. It is also only a short block...
