'酒店位於京都白川旁，感覺恬靜，景色優美。靠近市營地下鐵東山站。步行去河原町、南禪寺、蹴上傾斜鐵道、八坂神社等景點都是十至十五分鐘左右。整間酒店光線充足，不論是大堂或房間的裝修主題都以石和木為主。職員態度有禮，由於整棟酒店只有九間房間，所以職員們應該會記住每位入住旅客的樣子。 房間很整潔簇新，可看到白川河景。移動浴室木門偶爾會有小木刺掉落，不過只是小問題。雪櫃內有Perrier礦泉水、可口可樂、SAPPORO黑啤等。浴室有一個木製大浴缸，水龍頭流出的水有浴鹽味道(?)。打開浴室木窗便是大玻璃，玻璃下半部貼上了半透明膠紙，所以看不到河景。如果走太近的話，街上的人或許會見到住客的影子。洗手盆旁邊有Laura Ashley沐浴套裝和雪肌精護膚套裝，一般酒店都不會提供這些用品。 地下大堂是前台、guest lounge和食早餐的地方。Guest lounge提供許多食物和飲品如著名的京都北山malebranche茶之菓。雖然lounge晚上十點會關閉，不過酒店附近亦有24小時營業的超市和便利店。 酒店門外馬路狹窄，但勉強可以停泊一部車輛。即使呼叫的士也沒有大問題。 '

'We had an amazing 3 day stay at Art Mon Zen. From the moment we arrived to leaving, the staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. Probably the best hotel stay in Japan. Overall, the room was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day visiting all the sensational sights in Kyoto. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay near the main Gion district in Kyoto.'

'The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Overall it was very comfortable to stay. The amenities were limited, for instance, the website mentioned free water bottles, Yukata, cotton/cotton swab, razor, coffee, tea, and green tea, these were not provided when we got there, maybe things we could live without, but they shouldn’t have mentioned if they don’t provide them. There are no staffs present so it was a bit inconvenient when we needed something or...

'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...

'Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Kyoto but very close to amenities and to various attractions including Heian Jingu Shrine, Yasaka Shrine. Also in walking distance to Gion. Reception staff are friendly, the room and bathroom are a good size and are clean/well-maintained They have a laundry room which is really helpful The hotel is also 2 minutes from the Higashiyama metro station and about 10 minutes from Sanjo station so also conveniently placed for any day trips Would definitely recommend...
